I have had a love of painting and creating all my life so once my youngest son, Drew, started school I decided to attend Northern Kentucky University (mostly part-time to fit his schedule) and seven years later (I know, could have almost been a doctor in that time!) received a degree in art. Soon after I was hired as a content editor for North Light’s (F+W Media) decorative painting books.

During the five years that I worked for F+W, I edited both decorative and fine art books gaining an even greater education as I worked one-on-one with successful artists. Although editing was a wonderful learning opportunity (and my favorite ever place to work outside of home), my first love has always been painting and creating art.

Here we are many years ago.

Josh Hertzenberg is my oldest son and fellow fine artist. At one time glue, crayons and Legos were involved in the creative process, nowadays we spend more time creating with paint and/or mixed-media to tell the stories that are wanting to be told.

I hope you will visit his site to learn more about or to buy his amazing art. You may also like his page on Pixels.com as you can purchase prints of his paintings that can be printed any size or onto iphone cases, posters, greeting cards, etc.
